Accounting Assistant (PT/FT)

Accounting Assistants perform office or non-manual work directly related to the management or general business operations of TLG, or its customers. Attention to detail is a must!

Essential Duties

  • Phone contact with clients/vendors
  • A/P & A/R in QuickBooks
  • Appropriately Utilizing Internal Databases
  • Accessing and notating accounts
  • Accurately entering or confirming client/creditor information into database
  • Exercising proper transfer protocol
  • Effectively using computer systems for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting
  • Maintaining customer privacy when accessing customer accounts and information
  • Quality Assurance
  • Ensuring accuracy of all transactions processed
  • Meeting or exceeding company’s minimum expectations and guidelines relating to quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • ​QuickBooks experience
  • Above average math skills
  • Excellent rapport building skills
  • Proficient PC skills: Word and Excel
  • Must be professional with a helpful attitude
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Good judgment, tact, excellent communication skills are a must
  • Exercising a high degree of initiative
